Welcome to my website! First, I want to let you know I love selling real estate in Northern Virginia. I have over 25 years of experience in the new homes industry and resale market. As a native of Fairfax County, I am intimately acquainted with the communities and neighborhoods throughout the area, and having raised a family here, I have first hand experience with local schools and community organizations. An avid equestrian I understand the unique needs of those who have horses in their lives and the importance of accommodating that passion as well. Also, if you need to know where the arts & music scene is in a town, I'll help you find what's nearby! I will work with you tirelessly to find the home that matches your unique set of expectations, and as a skilled negotiator and experienced advisor, I will guide you smoothly through the entire transaction. "We started out just wanting to rent. Then Jeni suggested exploring the option to buy. Then we went back to renting. Then we went back to buying. Jeni was with us the WHOLE TIME with unending patience. We were first time buyers and really didn't have a lot of knowledge of the process except for what you see on "Million Dollar Listing". We were far from that level. We got in touch with Lindsay Simmons Beale (amazing to work with as well) who got us pre approved for a home loan. She found the right loan product for us with the best rates and options. An absolute pleasure to work with. Back to Jeni. We searched high and low for houses in our price range. Just when we were about to call it we came across a house that was just over our budget. We figured what the heck, lets put in an offer. We thought for sure the buyers would laugh at us or even be offended. A few days later Jeni calls. They were entertaining it! Long story short, she negotiated an amazing deal which we were certain we couldn't get. Jeni guided us through the entire process from beginning to end. She was tenacious and unrelenting in her search to find the perfect home. She advised us every step of the way. She did everything short of literally holding our hand and made sure the whole process went smoothly. Another thing I loved about Jeni is that she was realistic. She never led us to believe something that wasn't actually going to happen. There were a couple of hiccups along the way with our loan process but she kept us calm and told us no matter what we would find a home. There was never an empty promise or false hope. We closed 30 days later right down the street from our NEW HOME and headed straight over to get a little painting done before the move in. I literally cannot rave enough about working with Jeni. She is one of the most genuine and honest people I know. It didn't hurt that we had a ton of mutual friends as well. Needless to say, WE ARE CLIENTS FOR LIFE! Thank you for everything Jeni! SIDE NOTE: Everyone involved in the process was fantastic. From our lender to the settlement company. Even the sellers and their agent were incredible. Hey Jeni,
I worked with Jeni a couple years ago to sell my 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in North Point Reston. Having been my first experience as the seller, I had a lot of questions and concerns on the end-to-end process. Jeni was very patient in explaining the process and answering al of my questions. Since I was in a position of price to sell with a hard sell date, Jeni was great at setting realistic pricing for my condo based on my “must sell by” date to not have two mortgages. In addition she gave me great suggestions on staging my place to better set it apart from the competition. Jeni put together a comprehensive marketing strategy and work a lot of hours to get more visibility for my condo. Her brochures, open houses and mail pushes to local realtors were the constant attention my condo needed to get the sold. After adjusting the price a little, we had three viable offers on the table. Jeni took the time to help me appropriately counter the offers and she did not hesitate in responding with my negotiations back to the potential buyers. We reviewed all offers and discussed the pros/cons of each to make the best choice for my, “hard dell date”. Along with her professional business demeanor, Jeni was wonderful with my old kitty. She made sure that people coming into my condo were aware of her and did not let her out. All in all it was a great first experience in selling my condo.
